84 new HIV cases, infections on the rise

In the first half of this year in New Zealand 84 people have been newly diagnosed with HIV and 11 notified with Aids.readmore

There had been a 45 per cent increase in cases of infectious syphilis, a 50 per cent increase in the cases of gonorrhoea and a 20 per cent increase of chlamydia. The number of cases of genital herpes fluctuated slightly.
